(southeast) Purple Wood

African violets would grow well in this corner, but avoid metal containers and electrical equipment.  Support with a water element.

This is a good place for the American flag, but don't put the aquarium here.  Add children's works that you want to display.

(southwest) Yellow or Pink

Add clay pots filled with different pebbles, or hang a crystal mobile, but avoid indoor plants and flowers.

Books arranged on a green painted wood bookshelf encourages their use, but don't use metal bookends.  Add a water element, such as a fish tank or crystals to attract interest.

Place square beige or orange-outlined messages of encouragement on student desks. Change them frequently.

This area would be good for career posters. It is also a good location for the computer. Avoid stones and earthy things.

Use a gray bulletin board background with a metallic frame for travel pictures and multicultural exhibits.  Add earthy touches. Avoid lights and anything red.
